Dear Prime Minister, 

This letter is with regards to Schapelle Corby, an Australian in jail in Indonesia for 20 years. After reading the recent reports about her deteriorating health I am very concerned. She has been in jail for five years now and it is clearly taking its toll on her. This is understandable: five years is a long time to spend in a foreign jail in unfamiliar surroundings without the continued support of family and friends. I would not wish that sort of suffering on anybody.

It is understood that the Australian government takes very seriously the health and wellbeing of all its citizens and I am sure that the situation is being monitored very closely. 

I am wondering what steps are being taken to ensure she is receiving the proper medical support whilst in Kerobokan?

This message is to strongly express my encouragement and support for the Australian government to make representations to have her repatriated to Australia as soon as possible. I feel these representations should be as strong as possible to ensure the best chance of success with the Indonesians. I am also wondering what sort of steps the Australian government is taking with respect to this? 

Is there any way I can offer further support in this matter?
